All through school I avoided being the center of attention at all costs. I never wanted to be picked to answer a question in front of the class and hated getting in front of my classmates to give presentations or worse a speech. Little did I know when I started my education classes in college to become a teacher, I realized that not only did I fall in love with teaching but standing in front of a group became easy and comfortable. Through teaching, I decided to take my career a step further. I am an avid reader who enjoys sharing a love of books with others, and made the decision to return to college to get a Masters Degree in Library Science and Information Technologies to merge my two passions - teaching and reading. Who knew this would send me head first into the world of technology? Now, I continue to create engaging lessons to teach students and adults technology skills and software while supporting the goal of cultivating life-long learners.
