Overall responsibility for the delivery of the fire protection measures on the WestConnex M4E Tunnel project. Scope included;- Automatic Fire Deluge System- Automatic Fire Detection System inclusive 100+ fibre optic networked fire panels and Graphical User Interface (GUI)- Fibre Optic Linear Heat Detection- Motorised Hydrant isolation valves- High level modbus interface to the tunnel PMCS- Pre-delivery fully Integrated Factory Acceptance Testing (IFAT)- 100% Test and Commissioning of the overall fire system inclusive of Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)- Certification of the installed fire protection measures.

Managed and led the NSW Fire Installation business (Fire Sprinkler, Fire Detection, Warning Systems, Electrical, Special Hazards, Gas & Foam Suppression) having full responsibility of all business activities across the 6 functional areas - Finance, Legal, EHS, HR, IT, Ethics and Compliance.Responsible for profit and loss financial management and delivery of expected gross margin and return on sales targets (ROS, EBIT). Aligning the results with the national business plan.• Present monthly financial forcasts to head office and set stretch targets for direct reports.• Direct and collaborate with the sales team to successfully negotiate head contract conditions and ensure alignment with tendered scope of works. Ensure the sales team is focused on exceeding the yearly budget and are targeting customers and markets within the strategic business plan. • Implementation, execution and monitoring of all sub contract agreements, ensuring compliance with corporate legal policies and project documentation and specifications.• Provide technical and engineering advice into the design team to increase installation productivity and ensure full compliance with the applicable Australian Standards, National Construction Code (NCC) / Building Code of Australia (BCA) and local authorities.

Responsible in leading Fire Detection (dry fire) and Fire Suppression (wet fire) projects ranging in value from $100k to $5m across industrial, commercial and high-rise residential markets.Full responsibility of all project deliverables from project inception and integration, design and planning, procurement, resource management, implementation and completion. Key Achievements:• Successful completion of $3m fire sprinkler upgrade to a NSW Dept. of Housing Tower, consisting of 260 occupied residential units. The project required meticulous planning around the tenant’s schedule, whilst managing their emotions and expectations as we entered their place of residence to install fire sprinkler services. • Designed and managed $2m fire detection and fire sprinkler installation to a university accommodation tower including a fire detection retrofit to 6 levels of occupied learning space. The project involved the installation of over 1500 detectors in 6 weeks, running a day and night shift due to tight timeframes. The project was successfully delivered on time and profits exceeding plan.• Responsible for managing over 8 projects concurrently which included developing the design and drawings, strategic procurement, resource management and customer communication. • Promoted to NSW Installation manager, due to proven track record of successful project delivery, ability to lead and motivate teams and exceptional understanding of corporate systems, processes and expectations.
