I setup peaksGO Ltd in January 2018 with my business partner David Ryan. Our plan was to create team building events with a difference in the Peak District National Park.In Year 1 we won "Best New Accessible Event" from Accessible Derbyshire and now in our 2nd year we have had over 2000 people take part in our activities.Our activites are tailor made to get the most out of your team. We create unique , fun outdoor challenges in some of the UK's most beautiful locations.In addition to our team building activities we also run "Spectrum Autism Friendly Festivals" at Lea Green in Derbyshire. Our festivals are aimed at anyone affected by or wanting to understand more about Autism.

  After a sales career spanning over 20 years I decided it was time for a complete career change.I have always had a passion for the outdoors and I would spend as much time as possible in the Derbyshire Peak District walking, mountain biking and camping.Being outdoors in the beautiful surroundings of the Peaks District would always leave me feeling completely mentally and physically recharged. It seemed to help in massive way to reduce the stress of my job and day to day life.Having talked to many people in a similar situation, myself and my close friend David Ryan decided to setup peaksGO Ltd. Stress is a common factor in today’s workplace, which is outlined by the statistics below;526,000 workers suffered from work-related stress, depression or anxiety in 2016/1712.5 million working days were lost due to work-related stress, depression or anxiety in 2016/17peaksGO offers a selection of activities to help alleviate the stress of the everyday working environment by taking people out of that environment and out into the great outdoors. Studies have proven that physical activity can help to reduce stress. Exercise can also help to reduce anxiety, and consistent activity provides more relief for anxiety and depression. Breathing in fresh air, in a natural, serene environment also helps many people to relax and reduce stress and anxiety.This is where peaksGO comes in. With a combined working history of 42 years within corporate environments, we understand how hard it can be to manage the many stresses within the workplace, whilst trying to maintain a harmonious work/home life balance.Our aim is to help alleviate these stresses by taking employees out into the great outdoors.
