Testing, Researching and developing implementation strategies for recycling additive manufacturing waste to create new products and new filament for use with 3d printers. Submitting new samples to my supervisors and corresponding with lab team members optimize lab procedures, cleaning and general organization of the space, lab tours for library patrons, repair and optimizing 3d printers and the filament recycling-related devices (industrial mixers and grinders, desktop mixers and grinders, lead-screw and auger feeder, pulleys, speed- and PID- controllers. Writing and testing new algorithms and mathematical frameworks/solutions in relation to 3D printer systems, signal flow propagation, microcontrollers and laser systems, as well as assisting in digitization of analog formats. Conducting surveys, Q&A presentations and attending meetings in relation to city planning and administration within the city of San Diego.
