I was only at Scarborough Company for a short time but it was a wonderful experience! I had the freedom to create my own sales process and customize a CRM that worked for me. Mostly, I was working on bringing in new accounts but also had the opportunity to reach out to house accounts that had become inactive. I made on about 25 calls a day and was able to reach about 5 decision makers on average. Threads and Things 3 was my eBay business I started with my Mom and Sister so I could work from home while my son was an infant. It was more fun and more profitable than I had expected! We built the store from zero to 1200+ items in a few months and then maintained. I created an inventory system that tracked inventory and also made shipping daily orders very efficient. I learned how to value trending name brands, how to purchase them at a very low price and flip them for profit. I was buying, photographing, listing, managing inventory, bookkeeping, shipping, and raising an infant ! It was a perfect job for the time I needed to be home. Thank you eBay!

Oh RonJon, I miss you! It was so great to work with my family on a daily bases. My family owned and operated RonJon Publishing Inc. for over 20 years. I started learning the business from a young age and worked in production through my high school years. My first sales job was here, right out of high school. I managed our major accounts (like Microsoft and Peterbilt) I processed quotes/orders, and managed each project. We had the printing side of our business and the publishing side. On the publishing side I worked with professors that wrote their own manuals and labs. Either publishing new material or making revisions for the new semesters. I managed the orders/inventory with the school book stores. I also helped self-publishers through the process of publishing a book. It was a very rewarding job to see thoughts, children's stories, family history go from a discussion to a published book! I had many roles at RonJon, I learned a lot; operating large xerox printers , bindery, sales, working with vendors, customer service, publishing invoicing, shipping, and best for last... I learned how to speed clean an entire office (including bathrooms) as quick as possible on a Saturday morning - LOL!RonJon will always has a little piece of my heart!About RonJon- Ron Jones is my Grandfather who started the company.
