As a telehealth critical care virtual nurse, I communicate with patients via video conferencing technology. I streamline remote patient management and care in the inpatient setting with platform skills including but not limited to: planning, assessing, promoting wellness, implementing, and evaluating a patient's care plan; performing admission intake, patient education, and responding to and intervening in emergent changes in status as a resource to the bedside healthcare professional. As a member of the patient care team, I facilitate care with providers and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team. I also execute audits of electronic medical records/clinical documentation for compliance with DRG’s for reimbursement and best practice standards.
