Worked for 3.5 years as the Ahafo Operations HSLP Manager overseeing a 53 person department providing guidance to mining operations of approximately 4000 employee and contractor gold mine. Ahafo mine received OHSAS 18001 and ICMM certification during this time. Also responsible for budgeting and development of departmental work plans.Spent last 2 years as H&S Manager for Ahafo Projects including an underground development project and stage gate work for 2 other projects (mill expansion and mine development).
