Responsible for the planning, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission licensing, studies, and coordination for environmental, permitting, design, construction and management related to the hydropower reservoir, plant, and transmission project efforts from start to finish.

Executed Task Order based consulting work for the U.S. Maritime Administration. Managed consultants, subcontractors, and professional staff to perform planning, scheduling, budgeting, engineering, design, and environmental assistance. Supported the master planning and developed numerous cash flow scenarios.

Provided design and construction management for over 100 capital improvement projects. Typical projects included roadways, bridges, buildings, site work, historic structures, utilities, recreational facilities, water/wastewater, reclamation, bank stabilization, environmental remediation, and a tram. As the only unit with contracting authority within DNR, the section quite often provided services to numerous state agencies; those projects ranged from greenhouses to extinguishing an underground coal fire.
