Although not actively seeking a new job, I would entertain the opportunity to discuss any positions that would allow me to utilize my many years of experience as an embedded software engineer, but not involve actual programming.Experience 1991-present Aerotel Corporation Aledo, TX President and contract software engineer. Prior to joining Lockheed-Martin Aeronautics, my company, Aerotel Corporation, provided contract programming services and technical professionals on a contractual and permanent basis. Personal technical proficiency includes the knowledge and application of various programming languages, protocols, development tools, processors, and operating systems, among which are Unix, pSOS/pNA, VRTX, VxWorks, DOS, Windows, C/C++, embedded/real time/multi-tasking systems, and telecommunications applications. I have also created and maintain two e-commerce web sites for small retail businesses, both of which utilize HTML, Javascript and CGI and implement a shopping cart system.Specialties: I have a technical background with an MBA and practical small business experience. This includes successfully applying for and receiving a trademark with the US Patent Office, managing the design, creation and manufacture (through subcontractors) and sale of various board games, and creation and maintenance of eCommerce sites to sell these board games and other retail items. I have an intense interest in economics and the practical application of capitalism.
