I am in charge of working with and growing our businness with the Japanese Auto Transplants (i.e. Honda Nissan, Toyota, Hyundai). I am the Key Account Manager for Honda in North America.

Performing on-site product and system checks, reporting and charting data, and acting as the onsite communication conduit between the customer and Quaker. I serviced seven (7) accounts that belonged to the Quaker Senior Process Engineer in an effort to allow him to grow his sales. The experiment worked. With the onsite support that I provided, he did not have to be in the accounts as frequently and was able to grow his annual sales by over one million dollars.

Responsible for a 200-person, token-ring, fiber optic, local area network; setting up new users and log-in credentials on a Novell network; installing and maintaining all on-site computers and peripherals including computers, network interface cards, scanners, printers, hard drives, etc.; writing computer code (in COBOL and Visual Basic) to process customer files and turn them into shipping labels using a XEROX 4050 laser printer or for ink-jet printing directly onto the customer boxes; maintain and program fixes for a wireless, real-time inventory system; produce bar-codes for warehouse locations, pallets, boxes, cartons, and individual books within the one million square foot warehouse.

Assist the customer service rep (CSR) with ordering materials, writing manufacturing work orders, following the order throughout the plant, discussing production matters with the customer, and filling in when the CSR was traveling or on vacation.
