Developed educational materials, raised funds, organized volunteers, and advocated on behalf of Oregon and Washington chapters of Physicians for Social Responsibility (PSR) for the closure of the last remaining nuclear power plant in the Pacific Northwest - the Columbia Generating Station on the Hanford Nuclear Reservation. Led national PSR's efforts in opposition to "small modular reactors" and on issues related to national nuclear waste storage plans.
