Managing maintenance turnarounds for the PO&E business at Louisiana Operations for Dow Chemical Co. I support 3 plants with a total of 10 trains executing 2 - 4 turnarounds each year with a total budget of $5MM to $30MM anually.- Develop & implement EH&S strategy.- Develop & manage budgets - Develop contracting strategy's- Ensure Front End Loading is prepared for the TA including operational activities and procedures for clearing and re-commissioning.- Develop integrated work schedule.- Develop / Implement Turnaround Execution Plan- Meet authorized cost and duration targets.Additional Responsibilities Include:PO&E SME for Process Cleaning in North America – Networking with 13 sites to ensure business compliance to hands free process cleaning. Implementing and leveraging automated hydroblasting technology throughout the business. I am responsible for reviewing and approving manual type cleaning. Flanged Connection and Pipefitter Craft SME at the Plaquemine site.Contract Administrator – Additionally I am the Contract Administrator for two companies. I work to maintain relationships with vendor companies and plant representatives. I ensure compliance with supplier contracts and make sure the appropriate supply chain is followed.

I worked as a contract Work Coordinator for National Maintenance at a major chemical company to address low productivity issues and customer dissatisfaction until 1999. I was then hired directly for Dow Chemical Co. as a plant Operator. After six months I was promoted to maintenance as a Work Coordinator where I managed the largest work force in the area of 20 to 30 craftsmen daily. Work Coordinator DAS (discipline activity specialist) – I served on the Site Work Coordinator Network. This network consisting of approximately twenty Work Coordinators responsible for developing improvements to the Global Maintenance Work Process and updating the training manual. Also, I designed and led the training efforts for all Work Coordinators in 2002.Area Maintenance Emergency Planner – I was responsible for planning emergency work for fast pace execution.Conflict Resolution – I am experienced in conflict resolution involving resolving personnel issues. Leading Root Cause Investigations – Part of my current role is to investigate turnaround process’ incidents and issues. Area Maintenance Scheduler (Back-up) – I was responsible for developing daily schedules for multiple units as a back-up Scheduler.
