Recently published a novel "The Last Roundup On The Llano Estacado". This is a compilation of stories about the Civil War and the Reconstruction Period following the war as told to me by family members. It tells a compelling story of love, family and the search for a new life. It details the distress faced by the citizens of the former Republic of Texas brought upon the general population by a clash between the Ku Klux Klan, the Freedmen's Bureau and the Carpetbaggers who flooded into Texas after the Civil War. The trials and hardships of crossing the Llano Estacado also known as the Staked Plains of West Texas and Eastern New Mexico shows the drama of life on the frontier. This is the history of a pioneer family braving the treacherous, wild country with a dream of building a better life. They were not deterred by Indians, Commancheros or a forbidding land of little water and intense heat as they searched for Eden.

The brokerage also operated a large personal lines department including auto and homeowners policies that serviced over 10,000 customers from multiple offices in New Mexico

Hydro-Test's home office was located in Deming, NM and maintained an office in Long Beach, CA for it's West coast and Alaskan operations and Houston, TX for the Gulf Coast and Southern US operations. Hydro-Test was involved in high pressure testing of tubing, casing and blowout prevention equipment for both oil and natural gas wells conducted out of 22 domestic offices and international operations in Singapore, Dubai and the United Kingdom. It's client base included Fortune 500 companies as well as large regional energy producers.
