I have served in leadership positions with for-profit and not-for-profit organizations as a retail manager, pastor, community help organizations and traditional as well as charter public schools. My strengths are in teaching and administration with a penchant for strategic thinking and problem solving. I believe these skills have proven beneficial in strengthening the leadership skills of others and building productive teams to best serve the needs of others.My goal is to expand my consultant/coaching/mentoring opportunities in teaching venues working with church organizations and leaders as well as school systems and their leaders. I am currently working on three manuscripts:1) Proactive Listening as the Key to Differentiated Instruction which defines the components of being a proactive listener, differentiating listening from hearing, and how anticipating your audiences ability to receive messages effectively will enhance not only how they receive it but put it into a mutually beneficial action.2) Three Stances of A Shepherd: Positioning Leaders for Success is a discussion on how adopting a shepherding model of leadership moves others vertically and horizontally in achieving high expectations and team effectiveness.3) Praying Through Difficult Times uses the Prayer of Jabez as a model of disciplined contemplation in which a variety of concepts can be applied, broken down and reformed to encourage self and others beyond survival into confidence.Specialties: Teaching, Strategic Thinking, Problem-solving (thinking inside the box), Data-oriented and pattern/systems aware, deeply committed to high expectations for all with an eye to nurturing success as key and critical; public speaking at the drop of a hat; team-building; E=MC squared
