Presently overseeing all electronic development at Stern Pinball. This encompasses System Design, Vendor interface, Proto-type coordination, Regulatory compliance. In short, all aspects related to electronics from concept, into production are within my domain.Electronic Manager and Designer with 34 years of experience. Recent position as Manager of Hardware Development - Electrical for WMS Gaming. Leading a team to design and develop the electronic systems for gaming equipment used world-wide.Managing a team (up to 8) of engineers to design and develop electronic systems. Managing the team through budget forecasts, project schedules, resource allocation, monitoring design reviews, and some direct engineering providing the development, evolution and improvement of the electronics used within the gaming industry. Major accomplishments have been process implementation for method to track AML (Approved Manufactures List) allowing purchasing to control components efficiently and reduction of time for incoming inspection. Setting design standards and commonality of major system components allowing for shorter development, prototyping and implementation. As Sr Project Engineer, creation of a new architecture (electrical and mechanical) for Slot machines was developed under my guidance and management. With Williams Electronics the creation of the combination of a Pinball Machine and video was architected and thus creating a new market. Creation of arcade video game electronics setting new standards for the industry providing new and exciting products as well as several MPU architectures used in Pinball machines.Designed the electronics for an intelligent, dual processor PayPhone was architected, designed and developed.Experience has allowed me to Manage and work with a wide array of electronic. This experience has provided cross functional involvement and leadership with cross functional engineering disciplines (mechanical, software, and manufacturing).
