Coordinate planning, development, and implementation of professional development programs for teachers and staff of the Laurent Clerc National Deaf Education Center.Project Management: Oversee requests for professional development services.Special Projects: • Coordinate annual two-day orientation session for newly-hired teachers and staff members. • Develop and monitor professional development budget, making recommendations regarding necessary resources to support effective professional development activities.

Program Development: Collaborate with others to develop programs incorporating best practices that promote development for educators. Utilize state-of-the-art media, and other technologies Public Relations: Provided technical support for training events by coordinating logistics. PR representative, leading tours and facilitated media visits/interviews. Project Management: Coordinate nationwide delivery of training services by collaborating with regional centers to ensure successful marketing, set-up, and delivery of training. Trainer: Designed and delivered a variety of professional development workshops Special Projects: • Develop cadre of trainers, and coordinate train-the-trainer program to support skill development of teachers and staff members that become trainers.

Supervision: Recruit, interview, hire, and train staff members. Day to day supervision conducted.Counseling: Provided accommodations for students with disabilities; crisis counseling; sexual assault crisis team member; collaboration with parents, guidance counselors, mental health team, transition team, and academic departments to plan and assess student development. Coordinated with others in the management of a 6 Building Residence complex.
