Brought on-board to introduce and initiate the 1st time deployment of IBM’s FileNet Content Management System to various county departments. I conducted JAD sessions with various county business departments and technical teams to define each group’s project scope and identify and gather high level business requirements and also participated in job shadowing of business client as they did their jobs, where appropriate, to ensure valid workflow processes were recorded.Created VISIO diagrams to document and validate correct process flow and Use Case diagrams with supporting documentation. I also created BRD’s for some groups and reviewed BRD’s created by other analysts for accuracy.

A process improvement project for Wells Fargo’s Home Mortgage Group to identified delinquent mortgagees and provide early resolution solutions that both enable mortgagees to avoid mortgage default and foreclosure. This project included discovering and applying state and federal rules and regulations based on loan type, property location, and mortgagor.

Served as consultant to U.S. Bank for a short process improvement project to improve their reporting accuracy.This project involved (1.) searching and validating data; (2.) analyzing the stored procedures, and documenting what fields represent; (3.) providing an understanding of source data flows and transitions from the operational systems into data warehouses; (4.) SQL reporting tables analysis; and (5.) document analysis of fact and dimension tables used for SAP Business Objects BI reporting.This analysis would be used to determine whether a fix or enhancement was warranted, and scheduled to serve as a framework for a data dictionary.

Partnered with the on and off-shore teams of GE Fleet, a leasing company, to analyze and validate data sources and warehouse reporting systems for internal and external GE Fleet customers. Accessed and documented current as-is internal reports for review, analysis and business value.An assignment with Ryt-Way, a food packaging company whose recent business acquisitions merged several companies with differing systems and software, required individual meetings with 30+ system users from the acquired businesses to prepare an analysis report including spreadsheets, charts and Visio diagrams. The purpose of this analysis was to consolidate and establish a workable technology solution for all the acquisitions.

Performed requirements gathering for a new SharePoint implementation project at SEH, an Engineering and Technology company. Partnered on the BI team of Digi-Key (a large global electronic components seller) to implement MicroStrategy as the primary BI reporting tool. Provided requirements gathering, analysis, and artifact creation for identifying and prioritizing the KPMs used to monitor the work force management system. Collaborated with the data warehouse team to design a DataMart for optimal MicroStrategy performance.

I worked in numerous roles for Target, including Business Analyst, Systems Developer/Support Analyst, and Database Analyst & Developer. The first three years I worked as a contractor for Target (with Omni Consulting) before being hired by Target as their employee.As Business Analyst for the BI Web & Reporting team in Target's Process and System Strategy Group, I served as a liaison between our business clients and IT to analyze client needs and develop solutions with IT, BI resources and our offshore group.Responsibility as Systems Developer and Support Analyst included providing internal systems support, enhancements to business applications, database programs and user interfaces, and the support of more than 100 reports and applications, ensuring their efficiency, simplicity and accuracy.Experiences as a Database Analyst and Developer include updating and converting Target database programs, creating new systems, and retiring legacy systems (merging data following Target's acquisition of both Dayton's and Mervyn's.)
