Born 1980 in Iowa, but raised in Switzerland, I’ve been working with computers all my life. My first job was with the Swiss Government, where I gained valuable experience in a large-scale IT environment. When I moved to Austin, TX in 2004, I supported small businesses and home users through various call-center jobs, until I began freelance IT support in 2008. Using my integrity, quick learning skills and analytical abilities, my business was thriving until my priorities shifted with the growth of my family. In 2014 I joined a cloud start-up called Gravitant, which was acquired by IBM in 2016. During that time I helped build a support department that scaled to enterprise level. As our team grew, I became fascinated with finding ways to enable a small team to handle tough tasks. I received the opportunity to do so again in 2018 when I joined SourceDay. While supporting their supply chain application, my skills have grown to include an interesting mix of DevOps, Product Management, Engineering, and Team Leadership roles - yet my dedication towards delivering consistent customer satisfaction is what drives me.
