CurrentMy practice involves business and commercial litigation with an emphasis in real estate transactions and financial institution litigation, including data breach litigation. This includes cases involving loan enforcement, foreclosure claims, title litigation, contract disputes, business torts, unfair competition claims, malpractice allegations and partnership, shareholder and other internal corporate disputes. I handle fraudulent transfer claims and have tried such claims to jury verdict.My representation of builders,developers and contractors includes plaintiffs and defendants in disputes involving construction defects,title issues and tortious interference with business and contractual relations,breach of fiduciary duty and/or duty of loyalty and unfair and deceptive trade practices.I represent real estate professionals,including professional malpractice actions, claims for unpaid real estate commissions and representation before the Georgia Real Estate Commission and local Boards of Realtors.I lecture frequently on banking & real estate industry trends,including foreclosure issues and fraudulent conveyance claims.In addition, I often participate in seminars to provide tips on malpractice prevention, how to identify mortgage fraud and other emerging issues.Named a Super Lawyer of Atlanta in 2006, 2009-2015, as well as a Top 100 Georgia Super Lawyer since 2013, I taught as an adjunct professor at Emory University School of Law. I have served on the Board of the Real Estate Section, and previously served as Chair. I have served on the Board of Directors of the Litigation Section of the Atlanta Bar. I am the Alumni Recruitment Network Coordinator for Georgia on behalf of my alma mater, Villanova University.I obtained my law degree from The Emory University School of Law and have lived in Atlanta since 1991. I am married and have three daughters. I am an active runner and avid baseball fan.
