The Co-op is dedicated to cultivating a community of individuals who share a commitment to providing high-quality, locally-sourced, organic, and sustainable food options to the surrounding area of New Brunswick. In my role, I contribute to the successful operation of the storefront by overseeing the management of fresh produce and the timely arrival of shipments. Additionally, I actively participate in the Product Committee, where I collaborate with fellow members to evaluate and select the most suitable products for sale at the storefront. Through my involvement in the Co-op, I am able to apply my skills in inventory management, vendor relations, and product analysis to support the shared vision of creating a more sustainable food system.

As a volunteer tutor for Biochemistry students at Rutgers University, I was responsible for developing comprehensive lesson plans tailored to the individual learning needs of each student. Through my efforts, I was able to assist struggling students in achieving measurable improvements in their academic performance, resulting in higher grade point averages.My approach to tutoring emphasized the importance of effective communication and active engagement with students, allowing them to gain a deeper understanding of complex biochemical concepts. As President of the Culinary Club at my university, I led a team of passionate food enthusiasts in organizing and executing culinary events that engaged and inspired members of the university community. In this role, I was responsible for overseeing all club activities, including menu planning, budget management, event coordination, and member recruitment.One of my key accomplishments as President was providing our members unique culinary experiences from various cultures around the world. We also focused significantly on the sustainability and cost of our recipes to better accommodate our members.In addition to leading club activities, I also mentored members in culinary techniques, recipe development, and kitchen safety. As a result, many of our members were able to expand their culinary skills and pursue their passion for food beyond the club.Overall, my experience as President of the Culinary Club allowed me to hone my leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills while pursuing my passion for food and sustainability.
