Chris Walter is a business executive with over 25 years’ experience increasing customer value in the technology, services and manufacturing sectors — driving top line growth and bottom line performance.Chris cut his teeth in business with General Electric, managing a service business with full P&L responsibility, and had the opportunity to attend GE‘s Crotonville Management Development Institute. It is this early experience in business performance management that frames his approach.Chris went on as co-founder of Creative Composites, a high tech composites parts manufacturer, where he positioned the company as a service manufacturer versus a “job shop” thereby driving greater value to customers and increasing profitability. As the business development leader for a regional technology reseller, Chris changed the company strategy from low-margin hardware sales to high-margin “Software as a Service” provider for the service sector, driving service revenue annuity streams and increased profitability. Chris also held a post at Verint Inc., leading their global sales operations efforts. Since 2001, Chris has held various positions at MarketSource in sales and sales operations outsourcing. He is currently responsible for MarketSource’s Strategic Enterprise Services group comprising strategy and planning, corporate innovation, marketing, and the project management office.Throughout Chris’ career, he has acquired experience in strategy development and implementation; change management; business performance management; sales process and methodologies; and sales operations.
