Teaching the Irish Sailing National Powerboat Certificate to a wide age range of students.

Marineservices.ie offers consultancy, support and equipment to the commercial marine industry in Ireland. Specialising in television and film. Some examples of work completed include: ~ Driving powerboats and acting in a safety boat capacity for film and TV series such as the Netflix series “Valhalla”.~ Providing on the water logistical support for TV networks such as TG4.~ Maintenance, assembly and construction of pontoons for commercial events.~ Maintenance and commisioning of Selva Marine Outboard engines for customers.

Spent the summer coaching a small group of teenage sailors in their Laser (ILCA) dinghies as part of a race team programme. This involved briefing the sailors on the drills pre training session, organising and then executing the drills on the water and then debriefing the sailors both individually and as a group to deliver tailored feedback. I also travelled with the sailors to multiple regattas providing on the water coaching and acting in a safety boat capacity. The group i was coaching was part of a larger summer course in the yacht club and i spent a considerable amount of my time maintaining and repairing the powerboats, engines and dinghies that were being used by the other course participants and coaches.

Worked as a supervisor for summer sailing and multisports camps overseeing up to 20 instructors and 150 students. Whilst also delivering the cansail sailing Canada courses to both adults and children. Performed a wide range of maintenance across the fleet of sailboats and powerboats. Ranging from fibreglass repair work to outboard engine servicing.
