Irish National Sailing & Powerboat School

The Irish National Sailing & Powerboat School is the largest sailing and watersports training provider in Ireland and we have been getting people on the water since 1978. We provide all essential gear, boats and buoyancy aids, while wetsuits can be hired by the week. Our instructors are highly experienced and we are fully insured. We have an excellent safety record and pride ourselves on our superb reputation. The Irish National Sailing and Powerboat School offers training programs to children, adults, corporate groups, Primary schools and Secondary schools. Our training is tailored depending on age and experience. We have a fleet of over 250 boats ranging from single person dinghies to sports yachts and some of the most advanced powerboats in the country. We can accommodate all abilities with no experience necessary. The programs we teach are done in a highly professional manner having some of the most experienced instructors in the industry. We believe that the best way to learn is in a fun, stress free environment ensuring that you spend as much time as possible on the water. We are one of the few organisations that operate throughout the year. While offering on the water tuition in sailing and powerboating we also have courses in VHF radios, First aid and navigation. We are recognised by both the Royal Yachting Association and the Irish Sailing Association as a certifying organisation. We are also a Science Foundation Ireland Discovery Primary Science and Maths affiliated organisation offering informative and interactive programs for school tours and summer camps.
