I originally joined Utility People as an apprentice and left to gain more commercial experience elsewhere. As much as I loved the experience I really missed working at Utility People so have returned as a Consultant to support the team by looking after the candidates journey, engaging with them individually, listening to what they are looking for and helping them to find their dream jobs. I am currently studying towards my NVQ Level 2 in Customer Service which supports my role in providing an excellent service to our customers. I joined Utility People to support the implementation of a new initiative for their business – the candidate Success Programme. I was responsible for providing expert support of the candidate’s journey, listening to their career aspirations and discussing their professional expectations. From speaking with many candidates, I soon noticed patterns in personal candidate needs. I presented these issues to management and helped to implement new initiatives to help create a better experience for our candidates.
