As the Lab Manager for Microsoft Ireland’s The Garage program, I am at the forefront of innovation and creativity, steering a state-of-the-art maker space. My role is multifaceted, focusing on operational excellence, project management, collaboration, mentorship, innovation advocacy, professionalism, and fostering a positive impact. I ensure the maker space runs smoothly, optimizing workflows and managing resources to facilitate a productive environment for ideation. I lead significant projects like the annual Hackathon, engage in customer collaborations, and conduct workshops to enhance AI fluency among employees. My commitment to professionalism and work ethic sets a standard of excellence, while my enthusiasm inspires a dynamic and collaborative workplace culture.

This job entails specifically at the tills processing transactions for customers. I am trained in cash handling and how to deal with customers and any queries they may have.

As part of a collaboration with IADT and Logitech. Myself and a team of eleven other students were chosen to work under the instruction of Logitech. For five weeks we worked conceptualising ideas and designs that revolved primarily around augmented reality and music. My job was to aid in the design process and also to 3d model assets from our designs, in order to test them in virtual reality. This was done using software such as 3dsmax and Unity.

I worked as a Sales Advisor in Schuh within the Jervis Shopping Centre on Henry St, Co. Dublin. This position is highly customer service based as each individual have targets in selling products. I have been trained in fitting kid’s shoes which requires a positive attitude in order to give a good experience for the customers in order to return. I also gained a strong product knowledge and memory for sales. I have received multiple online feedback from customers about my service to them. I am also trained in using the cash register and experience double counting cash at the end of the day with my manager. I have experience in stock taking and keeping order within the stock room. I have been trained on a daily basis on customer service and very confident with approaching customers in order to make a sale and take pride in my customer service.
