As a therapist, understanding a client’s system of rules is a process of re-inventing myself. While I have a wealth of training and CPD to grant me templates, ultimately I know that each new client will end up shattering at least some of my mental moulds. It is in the messiness of reconstructing and seeing anew that I find the truest kernels of my work.Much of my work has been with addiction and young gamers.
