I work alongside Alistair Mayor delivering the Level 4 course for trainee counsellors. Duties include marking work, preparing and delivering lectures and activities and mentoring students through the process of becoming a counsellor.

This is my private practice. I operate out of a number of locations around Sussex and provide a range of services including one to one psychotherapy, couples counselling, business coaching and training.In order to set up an initial assessment please access my website.

I have delivered a range of training courses, including Mental Health First Aid, disability awareness training, suicide awareness, accessibility, listening and rapport building, how to build a team and how to manage staff. While I have a number of preset packages I deliver, should you want something more customized to your needs then I am happy to research and put this together.

I began work with the Lewes branch of MIND as a counsellor where I worked for nearly a year. With the closure of that branch I was trained up under WEL MIND as an instructor for the Mental Health First Aid course - a introduction into how to respond to serious mental crises in those around us. I have been delivering this course around the UK for over 2 years now.

I am an honourary counsellor with the Federation of Disabled People, having worked there offering psychotherapy to those with both physical and mental disabilities. As part of my work at the Federation I also provide training to other counsellors and psychotherapists that work there.

As a freelance lecturer I have been hired to work with the IAPT well-being practitioners to teach them about working with disability as a client issue. The core learning on this course has been:- clients with disabilities do not require a different approach, disability, however, does.- understanding the importance of increasing accessibility.

As part of my training I worked 2 years as a psychotherapist within the Psychological Counselling Services at Sussex University. This was a psychodynamic setting which provided a powerful contrast to my education and substantially broadened my horizons as a psychotherapist.
