An aerospace and materials engineer with a specialisation in the modelling and manufacture of composite structures. Specifically, my work has been focused on the space applications of a morphing composite cylindrical lattice. I have experience working on fast paced projects in a multinational research team. Strong problem-solving skills and experience in design, composite materials, finite element analysis, manufacturing and experimental testing.• Expertise in difference composite manufacturing methods; Autoclaving, Vacuum Assisted Resin Transfer Moulding (VARTM) and Laser Assisted Automatic Tape Placement (LATP).• Experience in the development of experimental test rigs for unique structures.• Hands on hardware expertise: milling, turning and drilling.• Experience in the modelling of composite structures; Finite Element Analysis (Abaqus), Analytical modelling (MatLab).• Published author of a number of articles in high ranking journals.• Multiple patents filed on deployable space technologies. • Presented at four international conferences and won two best student paper competitions.• Self-driven, highly motivated, quick learner, strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a multidisciplinary team environment.
