• Recovery plan assessment and challenge: conduct through review of bank, insurance, and investment firm recovery plans, risk appetite frameworks and related documents. This involves assessing from a liquidity, capital and credit perspective a range of comprehensive stress scenarios and potential recovery options within the scenarios. Each recovery plan review that I led involved engagement with internal and external stakeholders in order to ensure the continued evolution of recovery plans to align with current regulations, guidelines, best practice, and the market environment facing each entity.• Led a horizontal review of recovery plans in the LSI banking sector.• Supported the construction of a banking crisis management playbook.• Applying learnings from the SVB/CS failures for the Irish banking sector.

• Leveraged finance credit inspection: Credit file review resulting in the reclassification of multiple exposures; credit risk policy assessment for alignment with regulation and guidelines. Supported writing the inspection report and communication of findings.• Led a credit risk inspection into a large brokerage firm: presented findings at an on-site challenge session with the firm; presented at a Central Bank internal session; issued findings to the firm.• Led the credit risk assessment for the authorisation of two new banks• Supported a credit risk assessment of an existing LSI bank• Supported the stress testing of Irish SI bank leverage finance portfolios• Regular credit support to supervision teams on concern items including Energy/Russia/Ukraine exposures, leveraged finance market developments, Covid-impacted exposures, securitisations, and BAU credit concerns.

• Led the full 6 month authorisation process of three AIFM/UCITS ManCo entities. Each managing between €8 - €40bn in assets.This involved assessing business plans for key financial and non-financial risks; engaging with the applicant / legal advisors / foreign regulators on deficiencies, and presenting to Central Bank management.• I processed ten acquiring transactions of ManCo and MiFID entities. This involved assessing changes to business plans and new ownership applications.
