- Process initiative leader for launch on new laundry product of NA Consumers : Responsibilities included technical process design, technical risk assessment, option analysis and risk communication. Worked with a multi-functional team across R&D, Engineering, Commercial organization to enable product launch within committed deadline - Identified new technology for film sealing applications : This involved exploring various upstream technologies in close partnership with suppliers which helped identify a suitable technology which is cost -effective, robust and easy to maintain in a manufacturing environment. During this process I was exposed to IP, CDAs and extensive literature search in a business context. - Identified cost saving ideas via predictive modelling of real-time process parameters to optimize solvent control PID loops to ensure good process quality. - Responsible for Front end Innovation (FEI) projects on our manufacturing lines: Generated fundamental understanding of process transformations mainly involving polymer film sealing and thermo-forming using 5M approach (measure, modelling, mini, macro, manufacturing) that helped roll-out of new laundry products in the market. - Global Equipment owner of mini scale test stand - Design of mini scale equipment, test method development, training of new users and capability to troubleshoot current business issues- Using big data modelling linked real time process parameters with raw material specification, helped improve quality of laundry detergents by providing guidelines on raw material specification limits- Company Supervisor in the Knowledge Transfer Partnership project with KU Lueven focusing on thermo-forming and Sealing which helped in identifying the right analytical method for raw material qualification

As a 6 month intern in Process design function, Brussels Innovation Center, I provided guidance by developing insights on the best approach to thermoform PVA films in soluble unit dose detergents to guarantee compliance with new legal requirement regarding no-shear dissolution. Day-to-day work involved partnering with multi-functional organizations to execute plant trials and generate learning across different scales (modelling to manufacturing). Resulted in design of a new mini-scale equipment for fundamental understanding of the unit operation and trouble-shooting real-time problems in the manufacturing scale. Also had the opportunity to hone my leadership and communication skills with every day schedule planning activities and presentation of results (mid-way poster session for company directors, mid-term and final presentations for R&D colleagues)

As a mentor I was responsible for an International student group who I interact with, guide and help to overcome challenges both on the academic and social front during their stay at TU Delft.

Apart from my regular studies, as part of the Industrial Honors program offered jointly by TU Delft and Royal Dutch Shell, worked on a project whose focus was to explore and assess the overall impact of additive manufacturing (3D printing) on the future of energy by constructing various scenarios for the year 2050.
