As a member of the RAINN Speakers Bureau, I am committed to using my voice to speak truth to victims.You may not know me, but I am someone you know. They may not look like me, and they may not sound like me, but I guarantee you know someone like me and that is why I write and speak. As an advocate for rape, child sexual abuse, intimate partner and domestic violence survivors, I use my voice and the written word to share my stories, my truth, and my experiences to enlighten, educate, motivate, and inspire not only the survivors, but those who love and support them. I have facilitated sexual abuse support groups, spoken for rape crisis centers, the Native Alliance Against Violence, schools, domestic violence centers, and churches. I'm also focused on advocating for legislation and policy changes to help facilitate justice, as well as restoring and protecting the dignity of survivors.Although I love the world of design, I am currently focusing my time, attention, and talents on my advocacy work.Stay tuned for my upcoming memoir, and remember, you know someone like me and the best way to help them is to support them by educating yourself on the dynamics, ramifications, and struggles associated with abuse.*******My years of experience in the design world - whether it be owning and operating my own tile design business, planning and designing parties, weddings, and events, or working with the most inspired, talented, and driven design professionals within our industry - have all been labors of love. I love what I do, and I know I'm lucky to be able to say that. I love everything about the design process, from conception to construction, but it is the connection I make with those involved in the process that matters the most. I thrive on the opportunities to provide my support, industry knowledge, product solutions, and superior client services from creation to conclusion for every project I'm involved in.
