I am a USA Archery Level 3 Coach, and co-owner of Archery Academy LLC in Fairfax Station, VA.In May 2021, I retired from my "day job" as a nonprofit fundraiser and executive.I have a passion for historical research and writing, and have authored two books, "Celebrating 100 Years of Gearing" the history of the American Gear Manufacturers Association published in 2016, and "Wicked Fairfax County" published by The History Press in 2018. I am currently researching my 5x great-grandfather's experiences in the French and Indian War, and the Revolutionary War, in the hope of writing another book.In volunteer work, I am a Lifetime Girl Scout and 20 year volunteer with the Girl Scout Council of the Nation's Capital (GSCNC). My current roles at GSCNC include being a member of the President's Circle and the Juliette Gordon Low Legacy Society, Association 52 SHARE Co-Chair, Advisor for Cadette Troop 52077, Troop 52077 SHARE Chair, and five year volunteer at GSCNC Camp Ashgrove.
