I currently serve the Northeastern corner of Colorado for all USDA-Rural Development Business & Cooperative Programs. Programs include grants for renewable energy/energy efficiency upgrades for rural small businesses, Value Added Producer Grants, Guaranteed loans for rural businesses, Rural Business Development Grants and Revolving Loan Funds to serve rural businesses. I process, service and manage all projects from start to finish. Provide presentations and participate in community/round-tables meetings to represent the agency. Excellent customer service skills as I have worked in the customer service-lending related industries for over 25 years. From opening account, loan operations and proof at the bank to underwriting and managing mortgages with the Single Family Housing Program with Rural Development ultimately taking me to the Business & Cooperative Programs division of Rural Development. As a Specialist I am responsible for outreach to my service area, processing, approving and servicing all loans and grants. My outgoing personality and strong work ethic have provided me with many opportunities within my career path. I love to learn new things and better processes to improve processes. Currently serving as the Vice President of the American Federation of Government (AFGE) Employees Local 3499; serving my fellow employees since May 2020.
