My key role is to nurture an environment which allows for the healing of trauma and successful reunification of children with their families or assist with their transition into potential adoptive homes. In this position I recruit, train and supervise Therapeutic Foster Care Providers as well as the Licensing Workers and Therapists who support the families and children. While in this position my team has more than doubled the number of children able to be served by increasing the number of providers, including expanding into Maricopa and Pinal Counties. I have researched, written and presented training to employees and providers on a wide variety of topics. I wrote a program for Co-Parenting which 70% of SequelCare TFC Providers are currently trained in, and which I am in the process of delivering to other TFC agencies as a community project.

Worked independently on and off-site to create teamwork between teens, outside agency case management, house management, therapists and guardians. Weekly communication with all teams, facilitation of monthly team meetings. Reviewed and finalized reports on monthly progress. Coordinated and maintained the team schedules; scheduling for teens' appointments; documentation and records. This position required higher than average communication skill, assertiveness and tact.
