My responsibilities as a CVS pharmacist include:• Managing pharmacy technicians• Administering vaccinations to patients and counseling about vaccination schedules and vaccine preventable diseases • Receiving, filling, and dispensing prescriptions in a timely fashion• Counseling patients on their prescriptions and assist them in finding appropriate OTC products • Contacting third party payers and physicians in regards to patient medication refill requests and prior authorizations• Maintaining drug inventory by managing out of date medications and completing cycle counts • Collaborating with coworkers to improve customer service, satisfaction, and safety
