If there's a common thread in all of my varied professional experiences, it is a desire to empower people to make the most of their lives. Working the terminally ill and families in crisis gave me early insight into what really matters in life. Starting Family Times gave me practical skills in running a business. Eleven years as editor/publisher honed my writing skills. My experience with Toastmasters and current roles as minister and workshop facilitator/trainer have helped me develop my public speaking and presentation skills. My passion is Peace Literacy - teaching people the art and science of creating, building and nurturing healthy relationships through principles of Social Emotional Learning, trauma awareness, and restorative practices.
