Creating Connected Communities is a unique and rapidly growing nonprofit organization, bringing life-enhancing programs to thousands of children in need each year, while empowering hundreds of teens to become engaged community leaders and volunteers.As the organization's first Development Director, I was able to effectively plan, organize, manage and implement a multi-dementional fundraising plan that has consistently achieved our targeted goals. My years as a focused and passionate development professional enable me to build motivated volunteers, oversee all administrative details and develop initiatives that are engaging and efficiently executed. I am a credible and effective communicator who leverages relationship building skills with grant writing ability to secure funding from foundations, corporations and individuals.My position became full-time in 2018, as CCC's Operations Director. Added to my development responsibilities, I also perform all of the organization's accounting and database management. My areas of expertise include development, grant writing, donor relations, administration, campaign management, marketing, relationship building, volunteer coordination, event planning, accounting and database management.
