Patient Service Representative
Current- Greet patients,schedule appointments, collect/scan proper insurance information, collect copays, and patient balances if applicable. Process end of day batch to submit to corporate billing.
- Call Center- Heavy phone contact. Possess pleasant personality and excellent telephone and computer skills, staying within HIPAA compliance.Relay all necessary medical notes to the physician and patient via Allscripts.
- Exit patients and schedule follow up appointments, tests and/ or procedures as needed.
- Process required insurance authorizations for CT scans and MRI and schedule scans
- Process medical records request and referrals and scan medical documents into EHR system
