Undergraduate researcher in the Orefice Lab studying the relationship between sensory deprivation during development and ASD-related phenotypes and somatosensory circuitry alterations in mice.

Provided administrative support to the Foundation's initiatives by staffing events and community spaces. Collaborated with other interns to ensure the success of the Foundation's programming and education initiatives. Supported the planning and implementation of the Harvard Foundation's signature programming to promote on-campus visibility and appreciation of marginalized communities and their contributions, and coordinated programming that increased the visibility of the Harvard Foundation and promoted intercultural and race relations on campus.

Record and transcribe patient medical histories, physical exams, and other clinical documentation in a timely and accurate manner. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure complete and thorough documentation of patient encounters and maximize efficiency of patient flow. Monitor and manage electronic medical records (EMRs) to ensure proper documentation and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Remain up-to-date on medical terminology, procedures, and clinical practices to ensure accurate documentation and effective communication with providers.

Built and designed the FYRE 2022 summer program, re-imagining it from a fully virtual experience to the first in-person iteration since 2019, leading to (according to pre- and post-program surveys) a 100% satisfaction rate among participants (with 87.72% reporting feeling “very satisfied”) and a 75% increase in sense of belonging. Developed and implemented essential programming for first-generation and/or low-income students, including building community within the 2022 cohort, connecting them to the broader network of first- generation and/or low-incomes students, and disseminating information about how to navigate the various offices and resources at Harvard.

Worked with one other Team Leader (TL) to directly mentor 11 FYREflies, offering guidance and empowerment in their identities as First-Generation/Low-Income (FGLI) students at Harvard. Fostered a supportive and inclusive community, creating a safe space for mentees to share their experiences and connect with one another, and mediated difficult and emotionally vulnerable conversations.

Arranged FYRE's mentorship aspects, including pairing incoming freshmen with undergraduate mentors who had similar backgrounds and/or interests; organizing the content for and running Team Leader Trainings for the Team Leaders to ensure they had the skills, consciousness, and sensitivity necessary to mentor incoming freshmen from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Collaborated with a Radcliffe Research Scholar, a visiting academic from another institution, to support their research project on the biology of intimacy. Contributed to primary and systematic literature reviews and aided in producing an annotated bibliography. Helped identify answers to specific scholarship questions that arose during the writing of the fellow’s research project. Provided feedback on the fellow’s writing, drawing on experience with prose-writing to improve the clarity and coherence of the text. Constructed narrative and technical segments to be included in the finished product. Developed proficiency in scientific language and writing, as well as research methodologies and best practices for both the biological and social sciences.

Provided personalized advising and assistance to a caseload of first-year students, meeting with each advisee individually every four weeks to discuss academic and personal goals, identify challenges, and connect them with relevant resources. Collaborated with co-PAF and Proctor team to build inclusive communities through organizing and leading entryway activities such as study breaks, social events, and community service projects.

Sorted and shelved book returns, ensuring that the materials were returned to their proper locations in a timely and accurate manner. Pulled books for Harvard Direct patrons, using the library's database and collection management systems to retrieve requested materials efficiently and accurately. Processed book returns by discharging them and ensuring that they were available for other patrons to use. Contributed to other library operations, such as inventory management, book preservation, and interlibrary loan, ensuring that the library operated effectively and provided a positive experience for all patrons.

Directed two major conferences, the National College Research Conference (NCRC) and the Harvard Science Research Conference (HSRC), and coordinated with other HCURA sub-committees in order to meet the goals and objectives of a successful conference. Engaged in extensive outreach, served as a point person for every scheduled event, and established partnerships with key contributors in order to provide an efficient and satisfactory experience for conference participants. Designed conference programming, including keynote from Nobel Prize winners, MacArthur grant awardees, Pulitzer winners, and other notable figures in academia and industry; poster sessions; panels and workshops, to engage and educate participants.

Envisioned themes for panels and workshops and developed relevant content for the events of the 2021 National Collegiate Research Conference (NCRC), the largest undergraduate-executed conference in the world. Moderated and facilitated the smooth running of panels and workshops, ensuring that they met the intended objectives. Staffed virtual lunches, poster sessions, and social gatherings, ensuring that participants had a positive experience.
