More than Sparrows is a Home for women and children in Nogales, Sonora Mexico who have been displaced due to homelessness, foster care, domestic violence, and sex trafficking in all its forms. My heart's desire is to be able to create a safe haven for those seeking refuge and show them the love of God the Father. Reminding them that He is a Father to the Fatherless, A Father who will never leave us nor forsake us, and a Father who will provide all of our needs as we seek Him.As an overcomer and advocate against sex trafficking, my healing journey began by sharing my testimony in various sectors, speaking at Prisons, Universities, Churches, Trafficking Awareness Events and Political Campaigns.Over the years, I have worked with various organizations, aiming to help women escape sex trafficking and live a transformed life. I have gained the perspective of both worlds, and what it looks like to give help, as well as to receive help from these organizations. Having this dual perspective is crucial in ensuring that the women and children coming into this home know that they are loved and that they have a living example of what life looks like on the other side of victory! With the necessary tools, I can walk beside these women and children, leveraging my understanding of their trauma; emotionally, physically and spiritually.
