I have over thirty years of experience in health care administration, completed my Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from Our Lady of the Lake University, and accomplished both the CPC and CTS certifications (Certified Personnel Consultant (CPC), Certified Temporary Staffing Specialist (CTS)).Founded in 1988, we. became a well-known resource for finding quality technicians in the Biomedical Equipment (BMET) and X-ray/Imaging Service Engineer Career Field for technicians and Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) managers. My partner-in-life, Doug, has over 30 years of experience in the biomedical / clinical equipment maintenance (BMET) career field. Doug's niche in the market, his experience and in-depth knowledge of the biomedical equipment maintenance industry, and his business and military contacts provide the basis and cornerstone for Stephens International Recruiting, Inc. Tim Hopkins has been on our team since 2001 and has become the primary recruiter for our industry.Although our primary business is in the biomedical equipment / clinical engineering industry, I also work the clinical aspects of healthcare recruiting, to include Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Nurse Executives, CEO, COO, CFO, Executives, technologists, and all Clinical Professionals.I am a very proud Nana for grandson, Jacob. I love having my daughter, Dianna, and son-in-law, Tim, a partner in our family business with me and my terrific hubby, Doug. Tim has been a tremendous addition to our family and our business -- Tim is a great business partner and "son"-in-law . I am very proud of my daughter and her accomplishments, and the family that she and Tim have created!I love my Yorkshire Terriers and kitties, and have fun on the Bull Shoals Lake, boating and fishing. We live in the best community for lake, river, and park activity! Not ready for retirement, but enjoy this life! I was very involved in the Bull Shoals-Lakeview Rotary Club, and for over 20 years served as the chair of the scholarship program as well as over 21 years as co-Chairperson of the annual Hillbilly Chili Cookoff and Fall Festival. Then began my civil service career in 1975, starting out as a Receptionist, and continually moving up to positions of Secretary, Executive Secretary, Executive Assistant, Supervisor for Admin Support, and Manager of a division. I also served as the Patient Assistance Administrator / Patient Representative Officer, in Heidelberg; Credentialing and Risk Management Officer for the hospital in Heidelberg, and, the Executive Assistant to the Deputy Cheif Of Staff for Personnel, for Europe, in Heidelberg. I worked directly for many levels of Military officers to include Commanders of Health Care/Hospitals, Majors, Colonels, General Officers (2, 3, and 4-Star Generals). It was an amazing career field working for some amazing leaders in our military/Dept of Defense. I met my husband during my first position as a civil service employee, working for his boss. This career period allowed me to move to most locations with my Chief Warrant Officer husband where I had positions immediately available to me at each location. It was an amazing time, traveling in Europe and so many locations in the United States with my husband, too. I learned so much throughout this period of my life, and was so thankful for everyone I ever worked for and worked with. I will always cherish these memories.

    This was an exceptional position and I loved every minute of it. I provided assistance to patients from sitting in the ER with them under difficult situations to making apts for patients, I was there to assist them. I also made hospital rounds with the Commander, speaking to the staff about their needs, and ensuring patients and patient care was being provided with efficiency and care. My "teddy bear" approach to patients, especially children, made my position very popular and I soon became the example for hospitals across Europe to follow. I also made clinic visits to ensure credentials were complete for the clinicians, checking passports, visas, and quality of care. I was also responsible for risk management, handling problems and reporting any risk management issues that were needed. I loved my patients, and I especially loved working with the clinicians to ensure they had what was needed to provide quality care. This was a very rewarding position that I will always remember with fondness. I worked for and with some wonderful military and civilian staff.

It was a crazy period in our life, but we provided an important mission to the Embassy, its staff, and VIPs visiting the region. Evacuated January 1979, continued to work in St Louis as the records administrator. I met some incredible people there, to include our wonderful landlords who helped us during the crisis, our American and other European friends, and the American School Principal and his wife who also taught at the American school. Very valuable members and friends whom I will always cherish.
