 Champion and promote the benefits of Release Management and IT Service Management processes within hibu. Developed the Applications Release Policy for hibu which details expectations and deliverables, as well as clearly defining the difference between development, implementation, and testing roles to ensure the integrity of the Release function. Work with business stakeholders, the PMO and development personnel to determine the release calendar for hibu’s global applications. Oversee a team of 8 Release Managers in which I monitor the adherence to the Release Management Processes. Oversee the Global Release Process for hibu’s new digital platforms to ensure the timings, the dependencies and the impacts to the end user are clearly understood and communicated.  Systematized the release process for enhancements, hot fixes and deployments for Siebel CRM. Documented milestones and tasks, identified risks and contingency plans, and ensured allocation of available resources for a release. Managed all phases of a deployment with internal QA, offshore QA, third party software vendors, internal and third party developers, application administrators, and the business. Proactively tackled the production support issues that emerged from deployment of Yellowbook’s new CRM system. Established a process for handling issues, provided education to production support personnel and ensured that subject matter experts were identified and documented if escalation were necessary. Provided all documentation for a release to ensure Change Management was alerted and business owners were properly notified. Streamlined daily release meetings for Yellowbook’s core system, DIAD System for Directory Advertising; business partners, QA personnel, project managers, external partners, developers and key management were in attendance. Prepared and conducted post implementation reviews following large releases. Published the review along with action items to promote continuous improvement and track the follow-up actions.
