As a successful event and festival Producer, I have had the pleasure of putting on many large scale festivals, parties, concerts, art shows, conferences and public attractions. I negotiated contracts, handled all talent relations, pre-show coordination and on-site management. I was responsible for all profit/loss of events for which I have a solid track record. I was also contracted to serve as General Manager of several live event venues and theatres including the Wow Hall and OPUS VII. I supervised booking agents, sound and lighting crews, concessions, marketing team and volunteers. For OPUS VII I designed, coordinated and installed innovative, museum quality exhibits visited by tens of thousands of visitors. I created community marketing programs to increase ticket sales and created additional revinue from merchandise and off hours event rental.I have successfully raised hundreds of thousands of dollars over the years for many community programs and events. I created sponsorship programs and sold them. I solicited in kind donations for raffles and for our use in executing the events. I wrote grants and solicited private donations.
