One month shy of my two-year anniversary with LCMC, I was once more promoted. As the Director of Finance & Administration for the organization, I create, manage, and give oversight to all financial budgets and processes. I have also been entrusted with creating a vision for the expansion of sustainable efforts to further serve our clients and our larger community. With compassion and respect for our mission, I lead and implement all business aspects to ensure our organization is successful.Other duties include human resources and benefits management, contract and vendor management, AR/AP and development of policies and procedures, technology management, and figuring things out when others can't!

I oversee the Literacy Council of Montgomery County (LCMC) office operations including administration, human resources, payroll, office staffing, office volunteers, and contracted services. In addition, I provide support for LCMC programs. I work directly with the Executive Director to ensure the continued sustainability of the organization in order to continue to serve adults in the vibrant multicultural community of Montgomery County to transform their lives and enrich our community.

As a member of RAINN's Victim Services management team, I was responsible for ensuring high quality services to users of the National Sexual Assault Hotline (online and telephone) and oversaw the day-to day operations of the NSAH program. I hired, trained, and managed over 50 bilingual staff. Also assisted the communications team on several marketing projects and was the organization's main translation quality assurance point (Spanish language).

Chrysalis is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a pathway to self-sufficiency for homeless and low-income individuals by providing the resources and support needed to find and retain employment.Some of my responsibilities are:• Provide bilingual (Spanish) case management services for an average caseload of 150 homeless and low income individuals in the Skid Row neighborhood of Downtown Los Angeles for the purpose of attaining employment and self-sufficiency• Address mental health issues, substance abuse recovery, criminal backgrounds and other issues as necessary• Conduct intakes and assessments, facilitate classes, workshops, and specialized training for clients• Supervise staff members, train interns and new staff, and coordinate volunteer needs• Manage client services operations of the site in the absence of Site Director

2012-2013Working on SAMHSA project: "Bringing Recovery Supports to Scale Technical Assistance Center Strategy" (BRSS TACS) on Youth Symposium and the Collaborative Leadership Team. 2010-2012 Director of Youth M.O.V.E NationalYouth M.O.V.E National (YMN) was a subsidiary of the National Federation of Families for Children's Mental Health. It is a youth led national organization devoted to improving services and systems that support positive growth and development by uniting the voices of individuals who have lived experience in various systems including mental health, juvenile justice, education, and child welfare.Under my leadership, YMN has grown from 13 chapters to 47 chapter in 31 states. Furthermore, we provided training and technical assistance nationwide to youth and family organizations looking to strengthen their youth-driven approaches in community-based services and across all children and youth-serving systems.

Managed recruitment efforts for Career Transition Program, which is a free program for Montgomery County youth aged 16 to 22 with a documented mental health diagnosis. We work with youth to empower them and teach them the tools to successfully transition into higher education, technical education, and career goals. Funded through the Youth Transition Demonstration, a study conducted by the Social Security Administration.

Serving high risk/at risk youth. Primarily Latino, gang affiliated youth.

Serving youth at risk for out of home placement. Primarily serving Latino population. Specifically youth with emotional and behavioral issues ranging from gang activity to severe mental health issues. Professional service coordination.
