My current job is to recruit mining and manufacturing talent for the Carlsbad, New Mexico, Intrepid Potash mine and plant. Intrepid mines Langbeinite/Potash for agricultural and industrial applications, i.e. fertilizer, animal feed and O&G applications. In addition to underground mining, we also operate solar solution mines.

Contracted with Intrepid Potash in fall 2022 to support them with hiring hourly employees. Previously, I had been contracted by US Silica for five years. Before serving in the mining industry, I recruited for the aviation, defense, manufacturing, supply chain/logistics, and engineering industries.

I recruited and hired for the leading producer of industrial minerals, including sand proppants, whole grain silica, ground silica, fine ground silica, calcined kaolin clay and aplite clay. I hire salaried employees nationally. Positions ranged from Operations and Plant Management to Safety and Engineering.

I acquired talent for the Integrated Mission Systems and Fusion and Transformation business areas. I sourced for all types of talent from executive level to entry level. Career opportunities include but are not limited to: Electrical, Mechanical, Avionics, Systems and Software Engineering. I recruited candidates for our corporate headquarters in Annapolis, MD. I hired for over 20 line managers. I placed all different types of individuals from Administrative Assistants to Directors.

I recruited for 5 Home Delivery terminals. I found independent contractor drivers and package handlers. I also trained and mentored managers on the hiring process.
