Represented detained and non-detained clients seeking relief before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, the Miami Immigration Court, the Board of Immigration Appeals, juvenile court, and federal court. Applied FOIA laws and regulations to request information/records. Assisted in identifying legal issues geared towards impact litigation. Created and presented in-house trainings, trainings for community based organizations, and to other stakeholders on topics of: ethics, immigration, human trafficking, child abuse, and other dependency matters.
