Researched on distributed machine learning and problem-solving integrated techniques focusing on the development of decentralized case-based reasoning agents.Implemented Plural Noos, a platform for knowledge and experience reuse among peer agents.Developed the first prototype of the Fishmarket (one of the first electronic auction houses in the Internet) and contributed a number of papers and software artifacts: conversation protocols, interagents, tournaments, and others.

Developed Noostoo, a representation language to translate Common Lisp applications into EuLisp. This work was supported by the VIM project.

Conducted preliminary research on deductive databases. This research was funded by the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science.
