- Created a novel tool for identifying non-specific PCR products based on thermodynamic modeling. PCR assay success rate increased over 20%.- Co-developed a genotype-conditioned permutation test which identified and confirmed 2 genes for psoriasis risk.- Wrote NLP mining tools that consolidated pubmed evidence for hundreds of gene/disease associations of interest, reducing the number of non-significant associations of GWAS studies.- Contributed to a data pipeline for a comparative genomics study which identified thousands of mutations resulting from non-neutral evolution.
