I have worked in publishing for 20 years, including as a founder of Two Lines Press and now as its publisher and editor in chief. At Two Lines I am especially proud of the over 50 books I've acquired and edited, many of which have garnered national and international recognition, from National Book Award and National Book Critics Circle Award finalists to PEN Translation Prize winners to recipients of leading international prizes from the likes of the Goncourt, Akutagawa, Booker International, August Prize, etc.I have led our small dynamic internal team and a large contingent of contractors, freelancers, and stakeholders to build Two Lines into one of the most respected publishers of international literature in the U.S. At the core of what we do is the belief that if our love of the books we publish is apparent through our attention to every aspect of the publishing process—from the editing to the design to the marketing to the alignment of the matte etching on a cover—readers will be compelled to approach these books with the same care.
