I am currently a PGY-1 Internal Medicine Resident Physician at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. I completed medical school at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. While there, I was on the Community and Urban Health scholarly concentration track and served as the Executive Director of the George Washington University Healing Clinic. In my gap year before starting medical school, I worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator in a Peripheral Artery Disease Research Laboratory at Northwestern’s Feinberg School of Medicine. I earned my undergraduate degree at Northwestern University, where I received a double major in biological sciences and psychology as well as a leadership studies certificate.A highly motivated and detail-oriented achiever with multidisciplinary ambitions, I am fascinated by the future of healthcare and the possibilities that are present due to the intersection of medicine and business, the integration of non-clinical resources and social services with healthcare delivery, and the use of an asset-based community development lens to address health disparities.I am interested in volunteering and social impact, meeting new people and building relationships, leadership and organizational development, and patient-centered medicine.
