SGIC is a Language School under Languages Canada in Toronto. I was an Intermediate level teacher for the majority of my time at SGIC. Elective programs run in the afternoons, which were subject to change each month. I have created materials for Speaking for Elementary level learners, as well as English Through Music, which combined pronunciation, vocabulary, and Canadian culture, and an Intermediate Vocabulary class. At SGIC, I also supplied for classes such as Business English and the Teaching Young Children Program, offered tutoring, and was occasionally asked to translate for Japanese learners (i.e. policy updates during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic).

CLLC is a Language School in Toronto catering to international learners. I was brought in to supply for a total of 10 days. I facilitated the lessons left by the regular teacher and connected with learners on a temporary basis.

I work at a public junior high school and two elementary schools. I prepare and facilitate activities in cooperation with Japanese teachers to provide multi-faceted lessons to students. I do lesson-planning and execution at the elementary school level, working as T1 with the assistance of the Japanese homeroom teacher and following the MEXT curriculum. I also participate in school life, such as club activities, Sports Day and other special events, and school lunch. During the summer, ALTIA on the behalf of the Gifu City Municipal Government runs an English Summer Camp. I volunteered at this camp for the 2 years that it has so far been run as a Group Leader as well.

Osaki-Shi, Miyagi-Ken, Japan

I work at 1 middle school, 2 elementary schools, and 1 kindergarten. I prepare activities and work with Japanese teachers to provide multi-faceted lessons to students. I also participate in everyday school life, such as club activities, special events, and lunch.

I'm manager in charge of Brand/Visual and Stock. As such, I am responsible for the appearence of the store in compliance to Visual and Brand Standards (i.e.: floorsets, lighting, facing, marketing, etc.). In Stock, I am responsible for arrivals and transfers of product and maintaining the stock room.

Old Time Confections is a locally-owned import candy store in Ontario, Canada. There, I managed my team during my segements (including zoning and delegating tasks) and acted as greeter (the role of greeter was always given to the manager on duty). When I wasn't acting in the role of manager, I was on cash or zoned to the back of the store, covering soda and the Japanese candy sections. I was the Japanese Candy Expert.

Golden Valley Trading Company is a locally-owned silver jewellry kiosk in Ontario, Canada. As Supervisor, I made the schedule and managed employee time off requests. I was responsible for meeting daily sales targets and was top seller of the month a number of times.
